Texas RIDE is a new, exciting event for Texas 4000 for Cancer in partnership with the Cockrell School of Engineering. The first Texas RIDE will be held in Spring of 2019 in the Cockrell School of Engineering’s EERC. Teams of 6 students and faculty will spend 12 hours on stationary bikes (approximately 2 hours per team member) cycling to raise money in the fight against cancer. While we all cannot spend the summer cycling to Alaska, Texas RIDE allows you to experience the Texas 4000 journey throughout a 12-hour event. With food, entertainment, games, and excitement, Texas RIDE aims to involve the UT community in the fight against cancer and foster a culture of philanthropy amongst Texas RIDE participants.
Each participant will raise $100 to fight cancer, so grab some friends or ride solo with Texas RIDE!
