50% Student Discount (with proof of valid ID)
Get hands-on experience and expert guidance on DC resistivity and IP imaging topics, and explore theory, data acquisition, field procedures, data processing, data presentation, and interpretation using the AGI SuperSting™ Earth Resistivity/IP/SP System and AGI EarthImager™ software.
When & Where:
When: Nov. 9-11, 2016
The seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Light breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
Where: Advanced Geosciences, Inc., 2121 Geoscience Drive, Austin, TX 78726 (View Map).
This Seminar Is For You If...
You want to learn the basics of scanning the subsurface using Electrical Resistivity Imaging (ERI) and Induced Polarization (IP) and producing visualization in 2D images and 3D volume renderings.
You are interested in how ERI and IP scanning can help your business.
You would like to learn how to operate the SuperSting ERI system.
You have experience and would like to explore more applications of the methods.
You enjoy the savory taste of genuine Texas BBQ and TexMex food because that is what we will feed you at lunch. Vegan/vegetarian meals available too :)
What You’ll Learn :
How to operate the SuperSting instrument
How to design a field survey
How to deploy the SuperSting system in the field
How to collect the data in the field
How to get an inverted image of the resistivity in 2D and 3D.
How to operate the EarthImager™ software (1D, 2D, 3D & 4D)
2D and 3D survey design and hands-on practice on how to process surface data, borehole data, terrain (topography) information, underwater data, continuous resistivity profiling (CRP) data on land and marine, 3D data and (4D) time-lapse monitoring data.
