Pct. 1 Holiday Open House and Artists Reception Nov. 29
Williamson County Commissioner Lisa Birkman, Round Rock Arts and the Center Art Club of Round Rock, invites the public to their Holiday Open House & Artist Reception benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center. The event will be held on Tuesday, November 29, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the J.B. and Hallie Jester Williamson County Annex, 1801 E. Old Settlers Blvd., Round Rock, Texas 78664. This is a come and go event, and light refreshments will be served.
Attendees will have an opportunity to visit with Commissioner Birkman and her staff and view the works of local artists on display at the Jester Annex, as well as meet with the artists who shared their special talents. Some of the works will be available for purchase after the exhibit closes. There will be live music from Mimi Gray, a local musician and military veteran, who performs Americana/Alternative Country and Blues Folk Music.
Donations will be accepted for the Round Rock Area Serving Center. Their immediate needs are non-perishable food items such as canned meals (ravioli, stews and soups) as well as diapers of all sizes. Cash or check contributions to the Serving Center also will be gratefully accepted. The Round Rock Area Serving Center is a non-profit corporation, also known as the Serving Center; they carry out a community-wide mission of serving human needs in the City of Round Rock and surrounding areas with programs including a food pantry, Round Rock Coats for Kids, clothing & furniture vouchers and more.
