After years of experience working in the fitness industry, our founders looked for an answer to the growing epidemic of high priced and poorly executed training that is being provided to the public. With backgrounds as certified personal trainers, NPC competitors and having both served in branches of our military; our founders, Nicole Mendlik and Kevan Smith knew what it would take to provide results driven personal training, and thus in 2012 MetaFitness was founded. Our philosophy at MetaFitness is threefold, combining: personal training, nutritional monitoring, and MetaFitness’ custom software.
The first part of this equation begins with that of the actual personal training. With such diverse backgrounds in the fitness industry our founders created a style completely unique to itself; combining a myriad of styles including weight training, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), cardiovascular endurance, metabolic, and olympic lifting all blended together in each workout to constantly shock and push your body past its current state. What this means for you? A propensity of muscle soreness and growth and the unlikelihood of plateauing.
Next, and more importantly, is the incorporation of diet. This is really where results stem from. Whether your goal is to bulk up or lean down, what you’re fueling your body is really going to dictate how you look and feel. Our physiological and psychological make up are a direct result of the nutrients we put in our body, and thus a large emphasis on the MetaFitness program. Through their years of experience training others, our founders realized that there is an increasing problem of the general public being uninformed or misinformed on what a healthy and clean diet truly means. Through diet monitoring and adjustments, our clients are advised by nutritional specialists on their individual goals, on what and when they should be eating in order to maximize their fitness goals. Not only do clients see results because of this aspect, but they actually leave their programs with an understanding and ongoing knowledge of how to maintain their diet.
The final piece to the MetaFitness program is our unique and custom software platform. Personal training and nutritional training for the first time ever can truly be afforded to masses as our staff can train multiple clients simultaneously through use of our online software. The beauty of the software is that it truly blends both the workouts, and nutrition aspects into one product, which gives our clients the ability to TRAIN ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, all the while having constant feedback and contact to their individual personal trainer. This means the client can train in-person with one of our coaches based in Austin or can train in Chicago remotely and maintain the same level of attention without the face to face interaction and at a fraction of the price.
