ATX Boot Camp Living owner Alex Quesnot is one of Austin’s elite personal trainers.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Alex has always been invested in fitness and sports. His career in personal training started in 2009 at 24Hr Fitness where he completed over 5,000 personal training sessions allowing him to reach the level of Master Trainer. In 2010, he started Boot Camp Living, LLC where he has been able to help others. Since then, Alex has been able to obtain two degrees from Texas State University in San Marcos. He holds a Bachelors of Exercise Science and Sport with a concentration in Health and Fitness Management and a minor in Business Administration. In order to further understand the how the body works in sport, he obtained a Masters of Science in Exercise Science in 2016. While attending graduate school, he severed as a graduate teaching assistant. He is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Through the NASM, he holds certifications as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Furthermore, Alex holds certifications as a Kettlebell Instructor, CrossFit Level 1 Instructor, Onnit Foundations, TRX Suspension Training Course, and CPR/AED.
The primary focus of ATXBCL is functional training – making each client perform everyday activities better! Because of the vast knowledge base and continued commitment to staying abreast of the latest in training and fitness, they are able to enhance the physical fitness needs of any type of client. The breadth of their abilities range from flexibility to stability, agility, range of motion, and strength conditioning. This allows them to work with clients ranging from athletes, to clients working with disabilities, to those recovering from injury.
In working one on one with clients, they realized that they could reach a larger client base (at a more reasonable rate to the customer) by offering group boot camps. This allows individuals that are intimidated by individual training, or those that are unable to afford personal training, the opportunity to work towards their fitness goals with a trained professional in the field. They’ve been able to draw from their experience with various clients and develop boot camp training sessions that work for individuals of all fitness levels.
