Learn how to get leaner, stronger and smarter in your body at Vitality Pilates!
In the reformer class, you are training the body how to effectively work with gravity with extra support of the equipment. The equipment uses spring weighted resistance to help build your body awareness and strengthen you from the inside out. Learn to find your deep intrinsic muscles, and teach them to fire first.
In the mat class, you are challenged by learning how to work with gravity without the support of equipment. You will learn how to create stability from your deep core muscles. You find that stability creates mobility, and in turn you create new, more functional muscle firing patterns.
Body Release Class
This class uses a combination of the foam roller, stretching, and trigger point therapy in order to create release and opening in the body. Take care of your body, and feel lighter!
In a private session, the client gets Lindsey's full attention and support in a one on one setting. With a hands on approach, she helps to inform the client's body of how to move more effectively, and change their muscle firing patterns. The session is catered to the specific client's needs and goals, so the client gets to build a deeper sense of body awareness and the scope of the pilates repertoire.

ABOUT LINDSEY BRANNAN:
Lindsey Brannan has been teaching pilates for over 6 years.
She was trained and certified originally by Wendy Leblanc-Arbuckle and her (now retired) Core Connections Pilates Teacher Training Program. Lindsey is also certified by the Pilates Method Alliance.
She was first introduced to pilates in 1998 when it became part of the repertoire while studying at the School of Nashville Ballet. After an injury in 2000, that ended Lindsey's dance career, pilates took on a new purpose. It was not only to help build strength, but also to help give her the tools needed to heal her own body. Now she enjoys teaching others how to help themselves to live a pain free life.
Lindsey's approach blends both classical and contemporary pilates. She teaches the pilates method with a focus on whole body integration. She feels it is important to teach people that it is not just about the movement itself, but how the movement is executed. In turn, this helps her clients build body awareness and healthy movement patterns.
Teaching the body new and effective ways to move can absolutely change someone's life. Whether it is for rehabilitation, old injuries, chronic pain, an athlete looking to improve their performance, or someone just looking to improve their quality of life, pilates can help!
