Robyn McGrath is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (RPT) practicing in Central Austin. Robyn’s experience includes over 18 years working in public schools. The past 10 years she has worked as an Elementary School Counselor and most recently began concentrating on families in private practice. Robyn enjoys working with children and adolescents focusing on transitions, coping skills and emotion management. She has extensive experience with a range of issues including; aggression, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, divorce, social skills, grief and loss as well as Selective Mutism, Aspergers and ADHD. Through the use of Play Therapy, Sand tray, Mindfulness and Solution Focused techniques Robyn helps her clients explore ways to make lasting changes. Currently Robyn serves as the Board President for the Hill Country Chapter of the Association for Play Therapy, as well as providing supervision for future LPCs and RPTs.
